High Performance Photogrammetric Film Scanner
Capable of handling both cut film and roll film, the DSW700 uses state-of-the-art technology to produce output that is both geometrically and radiometrically accurate. Maximizing performance, increasing reliability and reducing costs, the DSW700 ensures the highest throughput. The DSW700 also offers unattended scanning of roll film and can easily change pixel size from one job to the next.

Maximum Throughput
The DSW700 is capable of scanning aerial film, cut sheets or roll, black and white, color or false color, positive or negative at a very high speed.

Meets all Photogrammetric Requirements
The geometric and radiometric performances meet all photogrammetric requirements, not only achieving maximum speed, but also optimizing radiometric performance by virtually eliminating Newton rings.

Precise Mechanical Construction
The DSW700 is built on the successful design of the earlier DSW200/300/500/600 models, with moving stage plate and a stationary digital camera with a CCD sensor. The DSW700 uses a LED dome light; an array of red, green, and blue LED’s arranged in two concentric rings, the use of LEDs in the DSW700 allows for a much more efficient, substantially faster implementation of sequential color capture than in the past. 11-megapixel sensor and a reduction in the amount of reflection between the glass on the stage and cover plates reduce Newton rings until it is virtually invisible.

DSW Software Suite
The DSW Software Suite comes with each new Workstation. The Software Suite includes the following bundled components:

• ERDAS SCAN: SCAN software controls the DSW700 Digital Scanning Workstation from set-up to project completion.

• ERDAS FastDodge: FastDodge is designed for maximum speed, so that the user can dodge imagery during the scanning process. It works inline with scanner operation and the speed of the DSW700 is not affected.

• ERDAS Image Utilities: Image Utilities is a set of functions that can be used on the same workstation as SCAN, but are licensed separately so they can run on a different CPU. With Image Utilities you can colorize with a tonal file, filter with a named filter, create and compare histograms, reformat and rescale to a larger pixel size, run diagnostics and comprise various utility functions.
