2009-12-17 -

Radar research and development continues to evolve into real-world applications.  With Differential Interferometry (D-InSAR) it is now possible to map inter-scene changes at the wavelength or even sub-wavelength scale. Thus C-band radar, with a 6 cm wavelength, can potentially quantify changes at the cm level!

For this webinar, we will be introducing D-InSAR, the newest component of IMAGINE SAR Interferometry, a package of radar workflows featuring the industry’s most advanced radar mapping technologies. With intelligent defaults and optimized processing, IMAGINE SAR Interferometry is fully integrated into ERDAS IMAGINE. With tools for georeferencing, filtering and calibrating radar images, you can derive elevation or displacement information regardless of cloud cover, day or night from stereo or interferometric image-pairs.  You will also learn how to save your radar data in any raster format, create color images to emphasize the magnitude of change, derive binary images to detect the most dramatic changes, create shapefiles for GIS applications and more.
