Bing Maps & ERDAS IMAGINE: Leveraging Base Maps to Create Information
Login to view this webinar
In ERDAS IMAGINE 2011, users will be able to fully utilize Microsoft’s Bing Maps platform. This worldwide coverage of rich imagery, maps and quality geospatial data will be available as base layers in ERDAS IMAGINE. Many of the tools in ERDAS IMAGINE are integrated with these base maps, making it easy to measure distance, perform change detection and other types of analytics.
Bing Maps makes it easier to visualize, understand and analyze geographic locations, and how areas relate to one another. Bing Maps provides photorealistic images, including bird’s eye views that present data in context while simplifying orientation and navigation. You can easily overlay standard or custom data points and layers with different themes.
ERDAS IMAGINE increases your productivity, simplifying classification, orthorectification, mosaicking, reprojection, map production, image interpretation and change detection, all while maintaining the integrity of your geospatial data.
During this webinar, you will see how you can use Bing Maps in ERDAS IMAGINE to provide geographic context to your data, search against the address database and easily update your GIS.
