Forceful Spatial Data Infrastructures (SDI)
Demand for SDI has grown rapidly; driven by legislation that obliges public bodies to publish data for increased collaboration with partners and customers. GeoMedia SDI Portal is a web application that acts as a client for spatial data infrastructure (SDI) services. It is installed and configured on a web application server, enabling multiple users to access the site via web browsers. It is used as a mechanism for finding, viewing, and querying geospatial data published with standard SDI web services. In addition, GeoMedia SDI Portal integrates multiple sources into a single map view that can be easily navigated.
