The ERDAS ECW/JP2 SDK Server Read-Write and ERDAS ECW/JP2 SDK Desktop Read-Write products do not use ERDAS-Net licensing. They are licensed by an “OEM code.”
To download, install, and unlock the product, you will need four things:
- The OEM product key
- The company name (verbatim) under which the product is registered.
- The installer password
- The download link
To download and license either of the ERDAS ECW/JP2 SDKs, please follow this guide. Once your product order has been processed by ERDAS, your download and OEM code become instantly available.

Please request your OEM code and required information from your
ERDAS distributor. Only your distributor can issue this.

Log in here or via the link in the upper right corner of the web page using your ERDAS software maintenance login.

In the right sidebar, go to Product Licensing. Disregard the five steps to standard licensing. Select
“Generate ERDAS ECW/JP2 product key and get download” and follow the simple instructions there to email yourself the OEM code and required information:

If you do not see a Product Licensing link in the right sidebar, your individual account does not have licensing permissions. Please contact your company’s license administrator.
