In order to add the 3D Explorer mouse as a device you need to first diable the UAC feature in Windows. Follow these steps to disable the UAC feature and add the 3D Explorer mouse.

1. Login with Admin Rights.

2. Open the Control Panel Settings and click on "User Accounts".

3. Click "Change User Account Control Settings" and set the slider to the bottom and click OK.

4. Restart the system.

5. Launch Stereo Analyst and add the 3D Mouse as a device.

To re-enable UAC, follows steps 1-3 and change the slider back to the 3 hash mark. Click OK and restart the system.
