This four hour online class presents a quick review of fundamental remote sensing, image analysis and GIS concepts instrumental to the function of ERDAS IMAGINE, followed by guided hands-on instruction using IMAGINE Essentials and IMAGINE Advantage.
To enable users to fully leverage the flexible features of ERDAS IMAGINE, this course introduces users to ERDAS IMAGINE’s interface and the core ease-of-use features for accelerating workflows. Additionally, students will view metadata and histograms for raster imagery and examine attributes for vectors. The class will also showcase the power and flexibility of mosaicking in ERDAS IMAGINE with the MosaicPro tool, illustrating the mosaicking of orthophotos, automated and manual adjustment of seamlines, and correction of color discrepancies in mosaics.
